Argentine Montura

Here is example of an argentine montura the type of saddle used by the gaucho's when riding in the Andes . It's similar to a western saddle , it has a foam & felt pad leather pad then a wooden frame tree to which the stirrups are attatched and then finally as many sheepskins you need to be comfortable and suede pad for extra grip if required . The stirrup position is more foreward than english style . The seat is deep and is ideal for steep descents and ascents .
